How to use Pocket Change

  • STEP1Select a language.
    Look for a green kiosk. Touch to start and select your language.
  • STEP2Select an option.
    Various options are available depending on the region you select.
    You can check the transactional capacity of each option.
  • STEP3Drop your coins and insert your bills.
    Coins:
    ・You can drop multiple coins at once (max. 20 coins).
    ・Make sure you only drop coins into the slot.
    ・Trash and other materials can cause an error.
    Bills:
    ・Insert your bills one by one. The machine will check if we can convert it or not.
    ・You can choose to get the inconvertible bill back or donate it to charity.
    ・After confirming your choice, we won't be able to eject the bills.
  • STEP4Confirm your transaction.
    Confirm your option and amount. Touch to finish. You can select another option, if you wish.
    IC card/smartphone (Rakuten Edy, WAON, etc):
    ・Touch your IC card or device to finish. Make sure to take your receipt.
    Other options:
    ・Take your receipt and follow the instructions to redeem the code.

Where to find Pocket Change

In Japan

Two machines at 2F Arrival Lobby,
1. On your left, facing the arrival gate.
2. On your right, facing the Keikyu ticket gate.

Get off the Wing Shuttle at the final station and head toward the seventh and eighth gates. You'll find our kiosk on your right against the wall.

Get off the Wing Shuttle at the Intermediate Station. You'll find our kiosk in front of the 28 gate.

Our kiosks are located out of the arrival gates, behind the information desks.

Access Plaza 2F. In front of FamilyMart. Right off the arrival gate.

Around the arrival gate, face the escalator. The kiosk is on your left.

1F Arrival Lobby (right off the arrival gate).

6 min by foot from B10 Exit of Shinjuku Sta., Marunouchi Subway Line
7 min by foot from East Exit of Shinjuku Sta., JR Line

Located immediately outside of Exit 5 of Suminoekoen Station on subway Yotsubashi Line.

Please use the free shuttle bus. Go left from H Exit. Departure from S-12 Hotel Shuttle Bus Area. 1 min by foot from Hineno Sta., JR Line.

1 min by foot from Nagahoribashi Station on subway Nagahori-Turumiryokuchi Line.

1-minute walk straight south from the East Exit of Motomachi Station on the JR Railway and Hanshin Railway. Approx. 70 minutes by airport shuttle from Kansai International Airport (get off at Sannomiya)

In front of Tokyo Station(Nihonbashi exit) of JR Line.
Otemachi Station(B8a exit) or Nihonbashi Station(A1 exit) or Mitsukoshimae Station(B2 exit) of Tokyo Metro Subway.

Connect directly from Shinsaibashi Subway Station (North and South Ticket Gates) on the Midosuji Line via underpass.
